Her version of the real, nonetheless, is by no means a passive replica of what we all see. Rather, it is a subtle and consistent transformation of the “appearance” of what she sees - a process mostly attained by her manipulation of the light and its function upon the forms and surfaces she carefully selects. It is an intriguing, almost mystical game of light versus matter and of materials versus light.
